Web Dev Boot Camp week 4

Image
This is going to be my 4th week experience with full stack bootcamp instructed by Angela Yu. From last week I exaggerated that I still wanted to focus on the argument that those who choose to do bootcamps instead of college can still get great insight and practice with any type of coding instruction. I'll post a snippet of my last week's work to do a comparison from how my website has been developing so far!                    Now as we can see, there is pretty much just the labels and headers with different types of fonts. No hyperlinks or quick links to new pages or self-portrait photo image to see who exactly is the "Jaden Speck" the website talks about. So, from this week's lessons I learned how to import photos into HTML scripts and link the files to a simple pathway inside the same folder. Angela Yu instructed how to use syntax that refe...

Web Dev Boot Camp week 3

This will be my 3rd week reporting on my progress/experience with the full-stack web developer boot camp! Starting things off, I want to elaborate on the key focus point for this blog which was originally how this boot camp may compare to the process and atmosphere of a regular collegiate experience.      The videos are somewhat all less than 20 minutes so far give or take; however, there are periods in the video when the instructor Angela Yu, challenges the viewer to do research on their own as we progress through the video and follow along the coding processes. Certain time stamps, one portion of the examples will be completed, and then will reference what tools on the internet we can use to make our own adjustments or do extensive research.       Naturally I would follow up the previous paragraph with a snippet photo of the instructor's example; however, attempting to take any snippets would be considered as plagi...

Web Dev Boot Camp week 2

Week 2          Reporting back on my week 2 progress with The Complete 2022 Web Dev Bootcamp experience, I would say it fell nothing short of a grand sucess! Within my first couple of hours from being walked through step by step and explanation of how to stay engaged in the course by Dr. Angela Yu, I was able to learn about the creativity allowed within HTML as the first intro language.     HTML is referenced as a building structure language in the first few modules of the camp; essentially meaning it's the organizer and structure factor into building websites or organizing the layout. Getting further into the module's videos, Angela explains that more adjustments are allowed in the languages to come like JavaScript and CSS which I will learn later in the semester. These allow changing colors, fonts, hyperlinks, functionality, and operation within our websites to make them more appealing for user's access.         ...

The Complete 2022 Web Dev Boot Camp

Many Students across todays America can enter in the university environment not knowing what exactly they want to pursue just yet or their own purpose in life until some spazz of inspiration comes along from something or someone. For myself it would be my professors at the community college level; I often found myself clueless in what degree pathway to pursue. My first venture was pre-req classes with peaks of interest towards business studies. Little did I know I participated in a scholarship invitational meeting open to any newly enrolled students for viewing, and then ended up creating a small circle of network. Down the line I met with a computer science professor and was intrigued with the topics of discussion he and I had regarding to the capabilities that programming can bring to the world in the near future. Short span of about 5 minutes I ended up deciding I wanted to change my major right then and there.      After discus...
